With June 5 as the World Environment, the people from different parts of the world bring their share of decarbonization. If you think you cannot do something, look at the prophetic witness of these individuals from United States who are making strides and strolls to make a difference. This is a responsibility that we cannot dismiss. Without it, we can loose the beauty of creation that can visibly proclaim the goodness of God. This challenges us to take care of it as we need it to sustain our existence and our works.
Below are scripture verses that move us to take action. God is inviting us to be mutually caring of the creation that is helping us breath and live. Without clean land, air and water, we cannot have a healthy life. Let us be witness of our own conversion to a world that needs transformation.
“God blessed them and said to them, ‘Be fruitful and increase in number; fill the earth and subdue it. Rule over the fish in the sea and the birds in the sky and over every living creature that moves on the ground.'” – Genesis 1:28
“The heavens declare the glory of God; the skies proclaim the work of his hands.” – Psalms 19:1
“You will go out in joy and be led forth in peace; the mountains and hills will burst into song before you, and all the trees of the field will clap their hands.” – Isaiah 55:12
“For it will be like a man going on a journey, who called his servants and entrusted to them his property.” – Matthew 25:14-30
