En el Perú se vive un tiempo de campaña política, pues se elegirá al próximo Presidente del Perú. No obstante, entre los temas que se aborda poco o nada se señala respecto al MEDIO AMBIENTE.
Considero, no porque ya se tiene un excelente plan de educación respecto a los temas ambientales; sino, tal vez, porque sigue siendo una temática que requiere atención urgente.
Rocío Valdeavellano, sostiene que es necesaria la implementación de un sistema de monitoreo, que involucre a universidades, empresarios y al Estado Peruano, lo cual permitirá evaluar e investigar los posibles escenarios y zonas del país que sufrirán los estragos del cambio climático en un mediano y largo plazo. Con ello, se podrá elaborar estrategias que puedan reducir el impacto social y económico que ocasionará en el Perú este fenómeno global.
ENGLISH:
In Peru, it is a time for political campaigns, in which the next President of Peru will be elected. However, among the many topics being addressed, there is little or nothing being said about the environment. I believe it is not because there is already an excellent plan for educating about environmental issues. It remains a subject that requires urgent attention.
Rocío Valdeavellano says it is necessary to implement a monitoring system, involving universities, businesses, and the Peruvian state. These will evaluate and investigate possible sites and areas of the country that will suffer the ravages of climate change, in the medium and long term. There can be developed strategies that can reduce the social and economic impact in Peru of this global phenomenon.
