ENGLISH: Carbon footprint or ecological footprint: the amount of the earth's resources that it takes to sustain one's lifestyle.
"In the U.S. we require 22.3 acres of earth's resources to sustain our current average lifestyle while only 4.5 acres would be our fair portion. The footprint we leave on the earth is too big." (http://www.earthandspiritcenter.org/) If we use approximately five times our fair share of resources, what does that leave for others? How do my daily choices have an impact on someone living on the other side of the globe?
