On the killing of Osama Bin Laden

Thanks to Martha Ann Kirk for sending in the article by Larry Hufford.
Thanks to the Marianist Social Justice Collaborative, "Justice Jottings," for the quote from Dr. Martin Luther King.

In the weeks since the killing of Osama Bin Laden, much has been written about the legality, morality, and wisdom of what was done and how it was done.  The following articles/quotes each offer a significant perspective:

Chomsky:  When Did America Completely Jettison the Rule of Law? gives an in-depth analysis which compares the process of bringing Nazi war criminals to justice with the process used on Osama Bin Laden.

Understanding and dialogue key to healing the world by Larry Hufford recounts Hufford's personal experience of 9-11 and what led him to commit himself to the transformational process of inter-faith understanding and dialogue.  He concludes with a positive, practical suggestion for healing our world.

*  The following quote from Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., spoken more than 40 years ago, is equally relevant to the world situation today.
