Victims of Mexico's drug war share testimonials, ask for solidarity

The Caravan for Peace with Justice and Dignity led by renowned Mexican poet Javier Sicilia remembers that over 70,000 people have died in violence and as many as 10,000 have disappeared since 2006 in Mexico. Sicilia and other families of victims from Mexico will share their stories and talk about possible policy changes in both countries to reduce the violence. Join us in this conversation to bring hope.
August 24, 2012, Friday, 7 -9 p.m. Presentations closing with a vigil in solidarity with those who have suffered. (preceded by 5 p.m. Press conference, exhibits and conversation, 6 p.m. Potluck supper.)
