GMO-Food: A Human Issue and a Human Rights Issue

WHAT FOODS CONTAIN GMOs?
Most GM ingredients are products made from the "Big Four":  corn (as well as corn syrup, high fructose corn syrup, corn meal, corn oil, etc.), soy, sugar (unless it specificies "cane sugar"), and canola oil.

TIPS TO AVOID CONSUMING GMOs:
1)  Buy products that are labeled "organic
2)  Look for "Non-GMO" labels
3)  Avoid products made from the "Big Four":  corn, soy, sugar that is not "cane sugar," and canola oil.
4)  Buy products listed in the non-GMO shopping guide.

RECENT EVENT IN ST. LOUIS, MO"GMO-Free Midwest - Occupy Monsanto" held a 2-day workshop on GMOs in St. Louis, MO, the headquarters of Monsanto.  The first day included educational sessions, and the second day focused on taking the message to the streets.
