The statistic that one in three women will be raped or beaten in her lifetime truly saddens my heart. I have a mother and a sister in which I deeply care for, and I fear anything bad happening to them. This event needs to be held in many different countries to elevate the consciousness of people around the world to protect our mothers, daughters, sisters, aunts and all women.
