¿Qué
hago –yo- para cuidar la creación de Dios? Además de cuidar el agua al momento
de usar la ducha entre otras actividades; uso servilleta de tela. Mi servilleta de tela me ha
permitido conectarme diariamente con una realidad que nos involucra a todas/os.
Nuestras acciones por más pequeñas que sean tienen un gran impacto.
Después
de usar mi servilleta, debo lavarla. Me
exige más, muy cierto. Pero el agua que gastaré en la limpieza siempre será
menor a todo lo que implica hacer servilletas de papel en las grandes
industrias. Sé que mi aporte es mínimo
pero es más grande cuando observo que mis hermanas de comunidad también lo
hacen ¡Eso es lo extraordinario!

What do I do to care for God's creation? In addition to saving water in the shower,
among other activities, I use cloth napkins. My cloth napkin has allowed me to
connect daily with the reality that our actions, no matter how small, have
great impact.
After using my napkin, I wash it. It is a
greater effort, but the water that I will use in cleaning will always be less
than everything that is involved in making paper napkins in the big industries.
I know that my contribution is minimal, but it becomes larger when I see my
sisters in the community doing it as well.
That is what is extraordinary!
