Young People Invited to be the Next Generation of Nobel Peace Laureates Because The World Can Not Afford War,

The world can no longer afford war. The newly released Global Peace Index 2026  reveals that we are at a critical point and things are getting worse. In terms of building peace in the world, the US ranks 134 out of 163 countries in the world. This is the time to encourage young people in the heroic work of building compassion, justice, and peace in the world.

They can begin getting to know other young people through participating and/or presenting in the CFC Global Youth Conference 2026 - Radical Compassion in Action for Justice

Young people about 15 to 35 years old are invited to be with about 30 Nobel Peace Laureates Dec. 2 to 4, 2026, in Rome at the Nobel Peace Summit  and to learn from these ordinary people who grew to do extraordinary things in the world.

Sister Martha Ann Kirk now haa s part time job with the Charter for Compassion as the Coordinator of Compassionate Colleges and Universities Initiatives.  The Charter now has a partnership with the Nobel Peace Laureates Secretariat.

She is to recruit 30 to 70 young people to be with about 30 Laureates for three days and learn.  We do not have funding for the young people, but we are giving them what may be a once in a lifetime opportunity of LEARNING FROM LAUREATES.  You can say that this is expensive to go to Rome, but it is only a tiny fraction of what we are spending and will spend on war. A glimpse of the cost of war.  Things are getting worse.  Global Peace Index 2026.

Please contact Sr. Martha Ann will be happy to explain more. Write kirk@uiwtx.edu and a virtual meeting can be arranged.
