 A Catholic Conference - “Call to Action to Care for Our Common Home” - Saturday, May 15, 11am-3pm CDT. 

The purpose of the virtual conference described below is to activate the Catholic voice to Care for Creation and promote church supported legislation to address climate change. 

May marks the anniversary of the release of Pope Francis’ groundbreaking encyclical Laudato Si’. C Citizens Climate Lobby’s Catholic Action Team invites you to spend a few hours getting inspired and sharpening your advocacy skills with a line-up of Creation Care champions. This conference will provide ideas for more effective Catholic outreach as we face another important year for educating and encouraging faith-based climate action!

Jose Aguto - Catholic Climate Covenant
Bishop Robert McElroy - Bishop of San Diego Rep.
Francis Rooney - Republican from Florida’s 19th District (2017-2021) and U.S. Ambassador to the Holy See (2005-2008)
Bishop John Stowe - Bishop of Lexington
 
When: Saturday May 15th, 2021 from 12 pm - 4 pm Eastern time.

-High impact tools and engagement ideas for CCTs
Tips on how to enhance Catholic outreach and advocacy
Tips on how to obtain EICDA endorsements from Catholic Institutions
