“El Cuidado de la Creación de Dios” escrito por Maru Noguez
Este fue el título del curso-taller sobre ecología que organizaron las asociadas de la comunidad de Betania de Guadalupe (BG) del DF en México, en San Ángel, durante 6 sesiones de 1.5 h. Se llevó a cabo el segundo y tercer jueves, de mes iniciando el mes de septiembre y terminando en noviembre de 2010.
La comunidad de BG, se constituyó en un comité no oficial de Justicia y Paz dentro de las asociadas, apoyando a Maru Noguez, miembro de la Comunidad y del Comité Internacional de Justicia y Paz (CIJP )de la Congregación, quien había solicitado y obtenido anuencia del CIJP para poder contar con un grupo así, no oficial, para dialogar y desarrollar actividades de Justicia y Paz en el propio entorno.
El curso –taller fue planeado por Maru y estuvo a cargo de los distintos miembros de BG junto con Pati Pacheco de la hermana comunidad de Camino de Luz.Varias hermanas de casa San Angel participaron en el mismo, teniendo un total de 30-35 participantes, 15 -17 asociadas y 12-17 hermanas.
La primera sesión, a cargo de Maru, fue dedicada al origen del universo y a darnos cuenta como el primer “hágase” del Genésis o explosión como dice la teoría del Big- Bang, hace aproximadamente 13700 millones de años, nos coloca a todos los seres unidos, teniendo un origen común, los mismos átomos, las mismas energías que nos rodean, dependemos unos de otros. El ser humano, al ser el más evolucionado, es el responsable del cuidado de la creación, por ser nuestra casa común, no somos el centro. Se necesita cambiar la mentalidad.
La segunda sesión, a cargo de María Elena Anaya, se dedicó a reafirmar que toda la creación nos habla de Dios, es un signo o sacramento de Dios y que el hombre es el que alaba a Dios por ella, es el liturgo de la creación, se vieron algunos Salmos.
La tercera sesión, a cargo de Javier y Angelita Chávez, quienes basándose en la Biblia nos hicieron ver que en hechos y palabras Dios, a través de la Biblia, nos invita a oírlo en la naturaleza, a ser sus protectores, no destruirla, ni acumular riquezas explotándola pensando nada más en nosotros.
La cuarta sesión fue el primer taller, propiamente dicho, a cargo de Estelita Cacheaux y Mari Geli de López P. La sesión estuvo dedicada al ”consumismo”. Se trató de la necesidad de cambiar de paradigma y no dejarnos llevar del mercado de anuncios que nos crea necesidades ficticias, y ocasiona que unos cuantos acaparen a expensas del trabajo de muchos que carecen de lo indispensable. Además, da como resultado contaminación atmosférica y basura.
La quinta sesión fue coordinada por Pati Pacheco apoyada por Maru. Se dedicó al consumo de energía. Aprendimos lo que son nuestras huellas de carbón, el casi imparable aumento de CO2 en la atmósfera que ya sobrepasó las 350 ppm y que si no actuamos ya, llegara a los 400 ppm que traerá cambios irreversibles y catástrofes. Recordamos sobre la existencia de otros tipos de energía que no contaminan y la importancia de tomar medidas para reducir el uso del automóvil y el uso de energía eléctrica y gas en casa.
La última sesión la dedicamos rápidamente al agua. La coordinaron Cristi Castillo y Lily Arriaga. Después de considerar su importancia, su escasez y el desperdicio que hacemos de ella, compartimos tips sobre acciones que podemos hacer en casa para cuidarla.
Al final de cada taller les solicitamos a los participantes que nos escribieran las ideas expresadas para compartir con todas las asociadas un Manual de Ecología. Con todas estas aportaciones estamos escribiendo este primer borrador del manual.
ENGLISH: "Caring for God's Creation" by Maru Noguez
This was the title of the course-workshop on ecology which was organized by the Bethany of Guadalupe associate community (BG) in Mexico City, in San Angel. It took 6 sessions of 1.5 h. It was held the second and third Thursday, starting this past month of September and ending in November 2010.
The BG community, became an unofficial committee of Justice and Peace for the the D F associates. It arose supporting Maru Noguez, a member of the community and the International Committee of Justice and Peace (CIJP) of the Congregation, who had asked and obtained consent of CIJP to have a group, not official, to discuss and develop activities for Justice and Peace in their own environment.
The training workshop was planned by Maru and it was in charge of the various members of BG with Pati Pacheco of the Camino de Luz associate community. Several San Angel Sisters participated in it, having a total of 30-34 participants ,15 -17 associates and 12-17 Sisters.
"The first session, by Maru, was devoted to the origin of the universe and to realize how the first " Let there be "of Genesis or “explosion” as the theory of Big Bang tells, about 13.7 billion years ago , put all beings together, with a common origin, the same atoms, the same energies surrounding us, we depend on each other. Human beings, being the most developed, are responsible for the care of creation. It is our common home, we are not the center. There is a need to change the mentality.
The second session, by Maria Elena Anaya, was devoted to reaffirm that all creation speaks of God, is a sign or sacrament of God and that man is praising God for it, is the creation liturgist,some Psalms. speak on that.
The third session, by Javier and Angelita Chavez, was founded on the Bible. There, with words and acts God invites us to hear nature, to be their protectors, not to destroy or accumulate wealth by exploiting nature as if we were the only ones..
The fourth session was the first workshop itself. It was coordinated by Mari Geli Lopez P and Estelita Cacheaux . The session was devoted to "consumerism." There is a need for a paradigm shift and not to get the advertising market that creates fictitious needs and causes accumulation of a few at the expense of the work of many who lack the indispensable. In addition, results in pollution and waste.
The fifth session was coordinated by Patty Pacheco supported by Maru. It was devoted to “energy”. We learned what is our carbon footprint, the almost unstoppable rise of CO2 in the atmosphere that has already exceeded the 350 ppm and that unless we act now, came to 400 ppm and will bring irreversible changes and disasters. We recall the existence of other non-polluting energy and the importance of taking measures to reduce car use and the use of electricity and gas at home.
The last session was devoted to water. The coordinators were Lily Arriaga and Cristi Castillo . There, after considering its importance, its scarcity and the waste we make of it, there was a share of tips on actions you can do at home to care for her.
At the end of each workshop we asked participants to write the ideas we will share with all associates as an Ecology Manual. With all these contributions we are writing the first draft of the manual.
