 La paz crecerá a medida que tengamos 

MUJERES EN EL DERECHO A NIVEL MUNDIAL. 

Un espacio para dialogar sobre el papel de las mujeres abogadas en Estados Unidos, Kosovo, México, Afganistán y Uganda, entre otros países: su formación, su participación en trabajos gubernamentales y no gubernamentales y otras opciones profesionales. Entre los temas que se abordarán en las diferentes sesiones están: el mantenimiento de la paz, la migración, la violencia doméstica y el abuso infantil. Los estudiantes tienen la oportunidad de interactuar con los abogados para explorar temas y posibilidades.

 

Las conversaciones están moderadas por Hope Frye, JD, una abogada de prestigio internacional y antigua presidenta de la Asociación Americana de Abogados de Inmigración. 

El evento es coordinado por el Programa de Liderazgo Global para Mujeres Jóvenes.  Las conversaciones mensuales están siendo animadas por y con estudiantes en Kenia, Kosovo, Uganda, y los EE.UU., con socios en Perú Co-patrocinado por la UIW Pre-Law, Estudios de la Mujer y de Género, Lewis Center for the Americas, Centro Incarnate Word, en la Ciudad de México, y UIW Bajío en Irapuato, México.

Hermandad Global

Cada dos años, Giving Voice (GV) organiza un Encuentro Nacional para dar oportunidades a las Hermanas Católicas menores de 50 años de construir relaciones y proporcionar un espacio para soñar juntas.  La pandemia obligó a suspender el encuentro el año pasado, así que estamos increíblemente emocionadas de anunciar nuestro primer Encuentro Nacional en tres años.  El tema de nuestro encuentro de 2022 es Avivar la llama del don de la hermandad global.  Durante este encuentro de cuatro días esperamos compartir nuestras vidas, nuestros corazones y nuestros sueños para nuestro futuro común como religiosas.

Este concurso es una gran oportunidad para trabajar en equipo, colaborar con quienes lo necesitan y cuidar de nuestra casa común. Esta dirigido a jóvenes entre 14 a 25 años de edad.

Stir into Flame the Gift of Global Sisterhood

Every two years, Giving Voice hosts a National Gathering to give opportunities for Catholic Sisters under age 50 to build relationships and provide a space to dream together.  The pandemic required us to put our gathering on hold last year, so we are incredibly excited to announce our first National Gathering in three years!  The theme of our 2022 gathering is Stir into Flame the Gift of Global Sisterhood.  During this four days gathering we hope to share our lives, our hearts, and our dreams for our shared future together as women religious.

Peacekeeping, Migration, Domestic Violence and Child Abuse guide the discussions in different sessions. Students have the opportunity to interact with the lawyers to explore issues and possibilities.
