A Carbon Fast

Thanks to Maru Noguez for recommending the Carbon Fast Calendar.  Thanks to Teresa Stanley for providing the 2011 Carbon Fast Calendar in English.

 For the last few years the Environmental Outreach Committee of the Archdiocese of Washington has suggested a list of 40 carbon fasting actions everyone can consider as a part of their Lenten preparation for the Easter season. Each of the actions will reduce our production of climate change pollution and help to preserve God’s great gift of Creation.

Last year Maru Noguez translated the calendar for the associates in Mexico.  This year they asked to have it again, so Maru once more prepared it, adjusting the dates for 2011.
